Brittany Corfman Parks

VICE-CHAIRWOMAN

Brittany Corfman Parks is a community leader specializing in political advocacy and development.She is well versed in state legislative affairs, local government, community development, philanthropy, and economic growth. Successful in advocacy, outreach, and marketing efforts. Brittany serves as President of the Orlando Republican Women's Federated. She also serves by appointment as the City of Orlando’s The Historic Preservation Board member. Brittany has worked for United States Senator Marco Rubio, State Representative Mike Miller and the Republican Party of Florida. Alumni of the James Madison Institute’s Central Florida Fellow and City of Orlando Mayor’s Academy. Brittany received undergraduate degree from Northern Arizona University.

Michael Alpert

SECRETARY

Michael Alpert, a graduate of Oviedo High School, where he excelled in wrestling. Michael was an National all American, four time state qualifyer and placed third at states his senior year. He was a Greco wrestling state champion as well. After High School, he attended Yeshiva University in New York City. While there Michael earned both a Bachelor’s degree in History and an Associate’s degree in Jewish Studies. He continued wrestling as an NCAA athlete, leading his team in victories and earning the schools Henry Wittenberg Wrestling award twice. Michael was active in the drama department at Yeshiva University, which earned him two awards: one for excellence in dramatic theater and the second for excellence in theater production. Michael rounded out his college experience with a year abroad in Jerusalem. In 2018, Michael was part of the Scott Sturgill for Congress campaign as a bodyman, then later was a part of the Scott Plakon for State House Campaign. In May of 2019, Michael received a Master’s of Science degree from Yeshiva University’s Sy Syms School of Business in the field of Marketing. His area of focus was digital media and data analytics. Michael is currently a member of the Seminole County Republican Executive Commity (SCREC) and is a precinct committee man.

Zane Ertel

EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Zane Beard is an At-Large Board Member that has spent the majority of his life in Seminole County. Since college he has spent his time working in government relations ensuring that citizens have the access to the government they need. Zane was named to Florida Politics 30 under 30 which recognizes Florida’s rising stars. Additionally, he served on the Seminole County Board of Adjustment. In his spare time, he watches The Amazing Race with his girlfriend Mallory and performs improv around Central Florida.

Joey Planz

TREASURER

Joey Planz received a Masters in Applied American Politics and Policies from Florida State University and is currently a Legislative Aide in the Florida House of Representatives. During his time in the Legislature, Joey has worked on issues ranging from protecting our environment to combating human trafficking. Additionally, he has worked as a member of the Bicycle and Pedestrian safety board at Florida Department of Transportation, a volunteer for the Putnam for Governor campaign, and most recently, the campaign manager for Bruno Portigliatti for State Representative.

Lee Steinhauer

MEMBERSHIP DIRECTOR

Raleigh “Lee” Steinhauer, Esq. is President and founder of The Steinhauer Group, LLC, a boutique government & legal affairs firm located in Central Florida. He also currently serves as Government & Legal Affairs Director for the Greater Orlando Builders Association (GOBA), and Government Affairs & Legal Counsel for the Apartment Association of Greater Orlando (AAGO).

Lee obtained his bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from the University of Delaware, and juris doctorate from Seton Hall University School of Law. Lee previously worked as an attorney in New Jersey and New York, and is currently licensed to practice law in Florida, New Jersey, and New York.

In addition to his professional work, Lee is active in several business and community related organizations in Central Florida and is currently Chair of the Winter Park Chamber of Commerce Governmental Affairs Committee. Lee is was also a member of the 2019-2020 Orange County Charter Review Commission.

Lee has served in Republican Party leadership positions, including President of the Republican Law Society at Seton Hall University School of Law, President of the Somerset County Young Republicans, President of the Franklin Township Republican Club, and Northwest Region Chair of the New Jersey State Young Republican Organization. Additionally, Lee served on Governor Chris Christie’s gubernatorial campaign as a member of the New Jersey Republican State Committee and is currently a Republican Committeeperson for his district in Orange County.

Lee lives in Winter Garden with his wife Allison, son Alexander, and a sheltie named Peyton.
